  2. What an amazing blog....and these paintings are wonderful...I have a real interest because my husband is Persian and his culture inspired my Degree Show work (I'm an artist)....I've drawn Fath Ali Shah's hunting pavillian in pen and ink.......

    And I think the weird camels shown are 'bactrian camels'. Shahenshah was an emperor in North India and these camels are indeed found at the northernmost areas.
