These are so great! I love seeing how the artist explains the mechanisms of the body in a short-hand that I don't come across nowadays, what with medical illustration being super-realistic. I really enjoy these!
The Faarsi (Tehran one) says "Kaarkhaanae Badane Insaan"; literally the workshop of the human body. Each section describes how an organ or part of the body works. I have seen similar illustrations in British children's encyclopedias.
