  4. Thank you for these great book covers!
I have noticed that nowadays many Turkish book covers are cheaply designed and especially typography is bad. But maybe that's a problem of the book and design market in Turkey in general...
    Erkin Koray rocks! :)

  6. An interesting synaesthetic equivalence arises listening to song or seeing typography in an unknown language: the musical or visual forms, atmospheres, compositions bleed into the mysterious words to allusive/elusive effect. All the books seem potential mystery stories; on one hands grasp at a sense the bars deny; on another electricity pylons hum coded messages about the land to the sky. Koray translates this into the description of a journey made in a dream that's yet to finish.

  9. your hero Erkin Koray is a fascist, supporting (without a shame) the ultra-nationalist/fascist party (MHP) in Turkey

  10. Oh man. Does it make it any better that I thought he was already dead?

Let's qualify by saying "musical hero"... for that song... and that video.
