OK, this is off-topic, but I have to thank you for recommending/posting about Jules Renard. I just got it yesterday and am reading it now--fantastic stuff.
Well, that just hurt my eyes, especially coming from a page with a black background. They remind me of those optical illusions where you have to count the black spots and every time you look at them they turn white.
I think it's hilarious that scanning added a layer of evilness to the images -- they totally make me dizzy. I plan to get them off the top of the page post-haste.
