Hoffman was a member of the Devětsil group in the 1920s. I think we can hypothesize that for the most part he left explicit sex to his friends in the Prague surrealist group, although he did contribute some erotic drawings to Štyrský's Erotická revue.

Some of it seems like new objectivity meets surrealism. Some echoes Russian futurism. Interesting, but not very sexually stimulating.
