  1. Off-top.
I've been reading your blog regularly; translated an article about amazing Adelheid Duvanel. Currently I'm living in UAE. Here some websites are banned due some hazy - for me - reasons. Among other - Flickr.com. It means I can not see the illustrations of your blog anymore! I understand that can not ask too much. But maybe you could use Picasa or some other resources for posting your pictures?
With hope for understanding, and thank you for your work!

  2. Elena, that's terrible. I'm pretty hooked on flickr because it makes my technical blogging life easier. Maybe you can see the images if you subscribe to the email feed? Let me know if that works for you.

  3. Hi, Will, thanks for the quick answer. Yeap, reading my usual blogs I feel BLIND, as many people use Flickr.com...
I've subscribed, but if it works - it will work for the future posts.
Well, seems like I'll have to do without the images, for some period.
Thanks for the answer, anyway! Take care, Lena

  4. Will, These are beautiful, every bit as good as the Biology Today stuff! How many more volumes are there, because you know you now have to post them all ;)

  5. Jim, I definitely plan to feature images from all *20* volumes. Here they are on my to-be-blogged bookcase. I think Roland Topor joined the team around vol.5.

  6. These are lovely - I'm a sucker for science-based illustrations. I wish the cranium sizes picture was available as a print - it kind of reminds me of a topographic map as well.
