  1. Bravo, your blog is one of the best online references for Blaise Cendrars I have read. Were you a French major? I am thinking of studying the theme of lassitude and voyage in Moravagine for a summer project at UCLA.

  3. I left the Soviet Union in 1978 and didn't have access to such a resource for this very important subject...A shame, but, better late than never!

    Congratulations on your milestone!

  9. Thank you everyone for your nice comments.

@L Van - I wasn't a French major, but read Cendrars in my very impressionable early 20s so he will always be one of my favorites. I have some more posts on him in the works.

@David -- do you happen to know my pal Aharon? If not, you two should meet.

@Deetou & Matthew -- I'm having too much fun to stop. 500 more it is!

  12. I've loved watching your shifting bilbiomania since the early days of the blog. Such a fine resource, I keep a folder solely to collect my favourite pics. It really is fabulously intellectual and tangential!
    Well done.
