  2. Antonia, I think this is a Czech translation of "Die Regentrude" - can you confirm that?

    I can't remember why I translated the title as "Storm Queen" and don't have the book in my hands.

  4. yes it's "Regentrude" it's a fairytale. storm queen isn't so wrong, after all there is a lot of rain at the end of the story.

  8. Try to look at the illustrations made by czech artist and writer Josef Váchal (1884-1969). I think you will find them interesting. There are some of his woodcuts available online at http://www.vachal.cz/.
