This post now resides on my other site 50 Watts:

  1. I'm breathless. Thankyou for finding her!

  2. I have this book (in italian) and it's one of my beloved since the early childhood!! dreamt so much reading those stories and looking at the magical images / I still keep it with me wherever I go to live /
I am so glad you published about it, thank'you :-)

  3. And I have a book of slovenian folktales (serbo-croat translation) illustrated by her. Your post brings back childhood memories... thank you.

  4. Wow her art reminds me of a very europian style, I don't know if you can see it, but middle europe have that kind of drawing style ( I have noticed it). Thanks for sharing as it brings back memories from my home country, watching cartoons etc - their illustarions where simaler :)

    Monika ♥

  5. Thank you all for your comments!

Monika, I am starting to notice in the books I'm collecting what you call the "middle Europe" style.

Also, I think I tracked down the Slovenian folk tales books (fingers crossed).

  6. Will, I'm trying to find additional information about Ancka Gosnik Godec for Bookbird magazine. Could you contact me directly at my google account?

You seem to have found some information that I cannot find.

Thank you for your time, Teresa
