Ahhh, "poetry for melting children" - what a great name. I wonder if this was a book people read to their kids to scare them into being good.
These are wonderful! I recently read Mandelstam's memoir of his childhood in pre-revolutionary Russia: fascinating stuff, but nothing like these!
