I had jotted down the name Jean Paul in my notebook after having read of him in a Centre Pompidou exhibit [Traces du Sacre] but couldn't remember who he was, and what to search for.
Thanks for the translation, but in omitting the intro and ending you are removing this dream sequence from its proper context. It fails to make the point Jean Paul intended.
