  5. These animals are so beautiful! They remind me of the Hungarian children's books illustrator Karoly Reich.
    He used to draw peasant life scenes with a lot of traditional ornaments too and the same typical animals like wolf, fox, cat and chicken.
    I had posted some of his pictures a while ago.

  9. These illustrations are beautiful. There is something dark about childrens fairytales, just wrote a small post on Grimms tales as I'm reading their stuff at the moment. Your insight into childrens writing and illustration is really interesting. Thanks for the post!
