Thanks Michel. Gilbert is hard at work on his Beard Weight book, and I've read nothing but classics this year, hence the dormancy of the literary side. We'll be back though!
Michel, your comment nudged me (like a facebook POKE) to post about a book tonight, as I've long felt like I've been neglecting the literary side of the blog. I pulled random books off my shelves for inspiration, and you'll be seeing the fruits of this shelf-pulling over the next few weeks.
These are beautiful. But what happened to the literary side of this blog?

ReplyDeleteThe love letters you must get. The tearful posted comments that mutter a gratitude that is never adequately expressed.
ReplyDeleteSurely agents and publishers plead with you to do a book for them? Oh wait, that's right, this is 2010.
Are blogs better than books? The hypnotic clicking, the breathlessness as you wait for the image and text to load.
I don't know. I just wanted to thank you.
