  8. Oh, thank you for a quick trip back to my childhood. I've always wondered why children's books today fall flat to me (I worked at Border's for a while - even then, the kids' section was a favorite spot). Loved The Mermaid.

    Nicole Claveloux deserves more exposure to anglophones, she did some great kid's stuff with Harlan Quist and her adult BD work in Metal Hurlant/heavy Metal was crack-a-lackin'!
