Try to look at the illustrations made by czech artist and writer Josef Váchal (1884-1969). I think you will find them interesting. There are some of his woodcuts available online at http://www.vachal.cz/.

yes it's "Regentrude" it's a fairytale. storm queen isn't so wrong, after all there is a lot of rain at the end of the story.
