  1. These are wonderful! ...the art of book covers: why is it dying?

    (My favourite is 'Roteiro Africano' because of the angle and colours, followed by the Gide.)

  2. Thanks for sharing these beautiful covers from my country. It makes me really sad to go to a book store nowadays and see shelf after shelf of books riddled with stock photography, special metallic inks, varnish and so forward in a bundled mess instead of getting back to basics and creating a truly original piece of art based on great concepts, great illustrations, cutting the price down for the consumer instead of boosting it with superfluous graphic thingamajigs.
